How should I name my images?
Use zero-padded sequential numbers — 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg. This keeps pages in the right order in every reader. Names like page1 and page10 sort incorrectly in tools that compare filenames as plain text.
Which image formats can I use?
JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP and BMP. JPEG is the usual choice for scanned or coloured pages, PNG for line art and text-heavy pages where you want no compression artefacts.
Are my images recompressed?
No. Each image is stored in the CBZ exactly as you supplied it, so the archive is only as good — and only as large — as the source images.
Can I reorder pages before creating the file?
Yes. Pages can be rearranged before the archive is built, and the CBZ editor gives you fuller control including drag-and-drop reordering, deletion and setting the cover.
How many images can I add at once?
There is no hard cap, but everything is held in your browser's memory while the archive is assembled. A few hundred pages is comfortable on a desktop; phones will struggle sooner. Split very large collections into volumes.
